Open Space: You Create the Agenda
Originated by Harrison Owen, Open Space Technology is a highly-scalable and adaptable meeting format which creates unique opportunities for intentional, action-oriented discussions among diverse groups of people to explore areas of collaboration, and to share resources and information. The community-building power of this process comes from participants creating the agenda together, and subsequently self-organizing to lead group discussions about creative solutions to a central question. It unleashes the leadership of every participant who is passionate about the issue at hand and wants to take action.
Please suggest session ideas when you register.
To inspire your suggested topic sessions the central question we are asking is:
“How can New Jersey strengthen its leadership position in Cultural Access and Arts and Health initiatives through Innovation and Collaboration?”
A “newsroom” will be created where minutes from each Open Space breakout session are compiled and shared with you and your colleagues. This record documents the important takeaways from the conference, provides a roadmap for ongoing, post-convening conversations and is a critical tool to engage new stakeholders.
Pre-register by June 14th, 2013.
