Elena Zazanis
Elena Zazanis (AEA, SAG-AFTRA) has originated leading roles in off-Broadway and regional world premieres and revived numerous classic characters from Shakespeare to Wilde on off and off-off Broadway boards; she has earned numerous credits from the NY and Chicago Fringe, as well as Planet Connections, where she won an outstanding lead actress award. Most recently, she founded Cabaret Sauvignon, an all-female a cappella quartet, performing for theaters and entertainment venues, non-profit fundraisers, corporate and private events, and festivals throughout the greater New York area.
Among independent films, her favorite credits include Newfest honored, “Purge,” DGA awarded short “Razan,” Slamdance’s “Nightingale,” and horror feature “The Ascension” opposite Corbin Bernsen. Voice over and on camera commercial/industrial credits cross a variety of industries, including media and entertainment, (Broadway show Chicago; Oxygen Network), financial, technology and pharmaceutical corporations (Goldman Sachs, Pfizer, Novartis and Brother Electronics), public sector PSA’s (NIH campaign against drinking and driving).
Zazanis serves on the board of Art House Productions, where she initiated The Art House INKubator. a script development forum for professional writers, actors and directors that has led to award-winning productions and performances of scripts developed in the group, as well as numerous commercial and legitimate jobs for actors.
