Have Questions Regarding Your Order?
If the answer to your question is not found within the frequently asked questions below, please contact the New Jersey Theatre Alliance by e-mail email@example.com and include your full name and a description of the problem – including any error messages you might have received. Please allow at least two business days for a response, as the volume of e-mails may be high.
Along with a Visa or Mastercard, you will need a working email account to purchase tickets on the site — this is where you’ll receive your confirmation emails when you purchase tickets, so be sure it’s one you check regularly. The next thing you need is a love of the performing arts.
Discount theatre tickets go on sale precisely 48 hours prior to performance time. VIP members have access to performances up to one week in advance. Sales for events end 2 hours prior to performance time unless otherwise noted.
You can select your location (i.e. orchestra, balcony) when you purchase your tickets, and the box office staff of the venue will provide you with the best available seats in that section at the time of your purchase.
If you want to know your exact seating location, you’ll have to purchase full price tickets to your performances at the theatre’s box office, on-line, or by contacting the box office by phone directly.
First you need to log in to your account. Once in your dashboard click "Manage Account" and you will be able to update all your account and contact information including E-mail, password, and mailing address. Be sure to click "Save" at the bottom of the page to ensure all your changes have been updated.
If you forgot your password, simply click "Forgot Password?" and you will be walked through how to reset your current account's password.
Please double-check the details of your order before you confirm/pay because all discount theatre ticket sales are final — there are no exchanges through njArtsTix.org. Refunds may be offered at the discretion of the corresponding venue, but must be coordinated through them, and no more than two business days after the performance.
To help operate njArtsTix.org, there is a $3.50 service charge on the sale price of each ticket sold. Service fees are non-refundable.
njArtsTix.org is a program of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance, and your credit card statement will show charges to the New Jersey Theatre Alliance, and may appear as “New Jersey Theatre.”
When you buy your tickets through NJArtsTix.org, your tickets will be held at the “Will Call” line at the venue box office before the show. The “Will Call” window usually opens one hour before showtime, but may vary (check the theatres website to confirm). Be sure to write down your confirmation number after you’ve placed your order (or print out the email confirmation), and be prepared to present it to the box office to receive your tickets. Your confirmation email will serve as your receipt, and as your proof of purchase.
njArtsTix is open 24 hours, 7 days a week, but the organization that administers the website keeps pretty standard office hours – Monday through Friday, 10am – 6pm. We will get back to you as soon as humanly possible during those hours.
The simple answer is: we don’t know. All of the ticket inventory on njArtsTix.org is managed by the participating venues. The only way you can be guaranteed to get tickets to a particular show is to call the box office of the producing venue directly and buy full-price tickets.
You may see tickets available for a show one day, but that doesn’t mean they’ll be available throughout the run. If you really want to see a show, and the tickets aren’t posted, go directly to the theatre; if you don’t mind rolling the dice, check back with njArtsTix each day. You never know when new dates and/or tickets will be posted!
Make sure you look in your Spam or Junk folder - or if you're in Gmail, look in your Social and Promotions folders too. Sometimes the njArtsTix email gets filtered as Spam.
