The Shakespeaare Theatre of New Jersey is looking for an Assistant Box Office Manager / House Manager. An ideal candidate will have experience in ticket management software, volunteer relations, prior house management experience, and knowledge or interest in learning ADA compliance guidelines. Duties include oversight of all front of house operations, coordination and recruitment of essential volunteer base, maintenance, and inventory of the gift shop and concessions, continual training and guidance of associates, and management of Box Office operations in absence of Director of Patron Services. The position is seasonal (May to December), with potential opportunity for extension.
Responsibilities: - Oversee all front of house operations for shows, special events, and readings - Manage all volunteer relations, and volunteer events - Research, organize, purchase and manage gift shop and concession stock - Manager-in-charge in absence of Director of Patron Services - Responsible for filling and handling all donation requests - Assist the Director of Patron Services as needed with special events, and engagement with donors in the Theater patrons lounge
