The Company Manager provides consistent support for McCarter’s theater series artists, including directors, playwrights, actors, designers, and other collaborators; is a highly visible representative of McCarter; and maintains excellent relationships with artists, staff, volunteers, local community, and vendors. In addition, this position supports departmental administrative processes.
Requirements include at least two years’ experience in company management or a similar position, preferably at a regional theater; working knowledge of AEA, SDC, USA agreements; proficient computer skills; valid driver’s license; and ability to work nights and weekends. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, possess an outgoing personality, maintain a positive outlook, and have a great sense of humor. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrable experience advocating for equity, diversity, and inclusion. Full-time, annual position.
Competitive compensation package includes starting salary of $35,000, medical, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, paid vacation, sick and personal time, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and a 403 (b) retirement plan.
