The Education & Play Festival Manager (Managing Assistant Director III) is integral to the running of Premiere Stages and is responsible for managing important aspects of the program, including implementing policies and procedures for the Theatre Management and Programming Office. Reporting directly to the Director of Arts Programming, the Education & Play Festival Manager is actively involved in the management and implementation of the two primary Premiere Stages components: Education (Play Factory/Premiere Artists) and Play Development (Play Festival). This position requires an arts leader who is passionate about theatre education, new play development and community engagement and is ready to develop and strengthen existing programs. This position requires a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college; two years of related experience working for a professional theatre; and a driver's license valid in the State of New Jersey is required. At least three or more years of related experience is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
