Access Thursdays: Touring Companies and Presenters, Partners in Access
Thursday, May 21, 2020 - 10:30am — 12:30pm
Access Thursdays are an opportunity for colleagues to get together for peer-to-peer learning around specific issues related to cultural access. Individuals with knowledge and experience in a specific area will be invited to join in the discussion, and representatives from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and New Jersey Theatre Alliance’s Cultural Access Network Project committee will also participate in the discussions.
***Please note: this roundtable will now take place as a video-conference rather than an in-person gathering. All registrants will receive video-conference log-in information by email.***
This roundtable will focus on the important partnership between touring companies and presenters in providing accommodations and access for all patrons. This peer-to-peer discussion will focus on best practices, challenges, and opportunities for presenters and touring companies to consider in making programs accessible to all.
This roundtable is perfect for staff of touring companies, program managers at presenting organizations, and ADA Coordinators.
