These workshops, offered throughout New Jersey, provide training and technical information to assist in the creation of a strong long-range ADA plan. Topics include architectural assessment, the development of programs and services that provide inclusion of people with disabilities, development of accessible marketing publications, staff and board sensitivity training, overview of ADA law, and information on how to use this website for the creation and submission of your ADA Plan.
All direct grantees from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts need to submit a Board approved ADA Plan every three years. The disciplines that need to submit a plan by December 30, 2019 are as follows: Arts Education, Multidisciplinary, Opera/Musical Theatre, and Presenters.
