Premiere Stages Seeks Immediate Replacement for Artistic/Producing Internship
Premiere Stages’ summer internships are full-time, seasonal positions. The program provides intense on-the-job training and weekly educational seminars. Premiere Stages is committed to supporting a diverse group of emerging artists; people of all backgrounds, ages, and experience levels are encouraged to apply.
Artistic / Producing Internship Provides the opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day producing activities of a professional theatre, and learn about the planning and producing of a theatrical season. Intern assists the producing artistic director and guest directors in rehearsals, assists with lobby displays and pre and post-show talks, and helps coordinate staff and production meetings. Additional duties include assisting with Equity paperwork, public relations, special event coordination, and audience services.
Duration Internship to begin immediately and run til August 3, 2018. All students are expected to be available for the duration of the program. Evening and weekend work required.
Compensation Weekly stipend of $225. Academic credit may be arranged at the discretion of the sponsoring college and is coordinated by the intern. On-campus housing is not available.
