McCarter Theatre Center, located on the campus of Princeton University, is one of the nation’s most active cultural centers. McCarter produces a vibrant Theater Series and is a major presenter of the performing arts. We are committed to engaging, educating, and cultivating a broad range of audiences, making the arts accessible to all people, and presenting a variety of entertaining and thought-provoking programming across disciplines.
McCarter’s educational programs include after school, in-school, student matinees, creative aging, community partnerships, and audience engagement programs. With a dual emphasis on artistry and social-emotional skills, McCarter is deeply invested in how theater education can enrich personal growth.
We are currently seeking creative, dedicated, multi-disciplined, and passionate individuals to join our team of teaching artists! Teaching opportunities run year-round and span from summer camp and afterschool classes to community partnerships and in-school residencies, serving PreK-12th grade students and adults.
We are especially seeking lead and assistant teaching artists for our 2021 summer camp, scheduled to run outdoors at McCarter Theatre Center from June 28th-August 6th, Monday-Friday from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.
