McCarter demonstrates an unwavering commitment to engaging, educating and cultivating a broad range of audiences, making the arts accessible to all people, and presenting an unparalleled variety of bold, stimulating, diverse and provocative programs across disciplines.

Proudest moments: In recent memory, our proudest moment was from June 2013 when Playwright Christopher Durang and our Artistic Director, Emily Mann, accepted the Tony Award for Best Play, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, which had its world premiere at McCarter in fall 2012.

Unique Fact:
McCarter Theatre Center is the only organization in this country that is both a professional producing theatre and a major presenter of the performing arts.
