Access Thursdays Roundtable Series Set
Access Thursdays are an opportunity for colleagues to get together for peer-to-peer learning around specific issues related to cultural access. Individuals with knowledge and experience in a specific area will be invited to join in the discussion, and representatives from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and New Jersey Theatre Alliance’s Cultural Access Network Project committee will also participate in the discussions.
The Cultural Access Network Project is a project of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and New Jersey Theatre Alliance.
Please Note: As a result of of the coronavirus and the recommendation from medical experts of the need for social distancing the March, April, and May Access Roundtables will be held as video conferences.

This roundtable will introduce the new Cultural Access Calendar which will provide the state's arts and cultural organizations an outlet to promote their access services and programs. You will learn how to create your events on the calendar and the calendar's various features for organizations and the public. This workshop is also an opportunity for peer-to-peer learning about best practices in promoting and marketing your access services and programs.
ADA Coordinators and Marketing Staff are encouraged to attend.

Learn about the latest advancements in technology and its role in providing accommodations to people with various abilities. GalaPro, Google Glasses, looping technology, and more will be discussed. This workshop will also cover resources for improving website accessibility.
