Bickford Theatre is a 312 seat proscenium theater that produces a season of professional theatre and presents a variety of concerts, lectures, educational presentations, children's shows, and dance performances.
The successful applicant will be someone who actually enjoys the challenge of long work days with high production standards that involve the usual gamut of technical theatre skills. These include carpentry, staging, rigging, lighting (both as LD and as master electrician), sound design and mix, scenic finishes, inventory management, maintenance and repair of all theater equipment, various theater related software skills, video projection, and people skills. Having a steady hand with a follow spot is helpful and having a good sense of humor is required. If you are not a good team player, don’t apply. Prior experience preferred, prior knowledge mandatory, but willing to train the right candidate. Must be flexible and available week nights and weekends.
