Patron Services Associate (Part-Time) - New Brunswick Performing Arts Center

The New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC), opened in August 2019 and is home to four member companies- The American Repertory Ballet Company, Crossroads Theatre Company, George Street Playhouse and Rutgers, Mason Gross School of the Arts. NBPAC contains two state of the art theatres: the 463 seat Elizabeth Ross Johnson Theater and the 252 seat Arthur Laurents Theater. The new facility also contains two large rehearsal rooms, a donor lounge, and a spacious two floor lobby area. NBPAC has an opening for part- time Patron Services Associates.

New Brunswick Performing Arts Center - Patron Services Associate (Part-Time)
The New Brunswick Performing Arts Center is seeking personable and enthusiastic Patron Services Associates. The Patron Services Associate serves as the face of the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center and will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional experience for our diverse and growing patron base. Building relationships and engaging patrons, associates will assist with needs ranging from picking out seats to helping them find their way to the theatre. We are looking for individuals with a background in sales / customer service who are proficient in Tessitura. Daytime, evening, and weekend hours are required. 15-20 hours weekly on average.

Responsibilities:

 Fielding calls
 Assisting patrons with sales, exchanges, and general inquiries
 Managing patron correspondence with Box Office
 Cross-selling and upselling productions
 Entering information into Tessitura
 Undertaking other duties as reasonably required

Skills:

 Exemplary customer service skills
 Efficient problem solver
 Multi-tasking capability
 Ability to balance multiple projects
 Knowledge of Tessitura, theater and theater databases preferred

Salary and Benefits:
This is a part-time position, paying $15.00 per hour. This position does not include benefits.
