A Parlour Theatrical by Craig Fols Based, of course, on Charles Dickens
One epic. Two brothers. What could go wrong?
Set against the violent upheaval of the French Revolution. Craig Fols' A Tale of Two Cities, Cobbled Together by the Brothers Lovejoy, Avery and Bunce are brothers who cannot escape each other. For reasons we can only guess at, they share a dilapidated home where they obsessively reenact A Tale of Two Cities, playing all the characters themselves while constantly debating its validity, refining, editing and worrying. In their endeavor, Avery and Bunce become the theatrical metaphor for the question: what value does art have, if any, in our world?
