Mile Square Theatre is Hoboken’s premiere professional theatre offering high-quality arts entertainment as well as classes in theatre and dance for kids and adults. Our professional show slate focuses on new and new-ish plays and includes one holiday show and one show for young audiences each year. Be sure to check out our signature annual event, The 7th Inning Stretch, which features seven world premiere 10-minute plays about baseball at our theatre that’s barely a homerun hit away from where the very first game was played!

As one of Hudson County’s largest arts organizations, we are committed to bringing you high-quality theater without the expense and hassle of crossing the Hudson!

      All restrooms are wheelchair accessible and are located on both the first and second floor, with access to the second floor via elevator.

      We reserve one seat in the front row for wheelchair users and an adjacent seat for a companion. However, all chairs in the front row can be quickly removed for a wheelchair.

      We offer assistive listening devices. Please request these at least one week in advance. We also have large print playbills on demand. Certain performances will be selected for open captioning, audio descriptions, and/or sign language interpretation.

Education Offerings

We offer summer theater workshops in July for students 4-14. We also offer after-school and weekend classes in dance and theater from September through June for ages 3 to adult. Additionally, we work with local schools to host student matinees for any show. Our young audience shows have student matinees that are open to school field trips.
