Since 1989, Cape May Stage’s mission has been to produce compelling and impactful theater that engages audiences and enriches their lives. Located in the Robert Shackleton Playhouse on the corner of Bank and Lafayette Streets in the heart of historic downtown Cape May, NJ, Cape May Stage is dedicated to producing diverse, contemporary theater in the nation’s oldest seaside resort. Cape May Stage is Southern New Jersey’s premier Equity theater. We are committed to producing entertaining, and intellectually and emotionally provocative theater, while striving to achieve the highest level of artistic excellence.

We are a place where audience members can experience plays with timely themes that resonate locally, nationally, and around the world. We inspire nationally recognized actors and artists to partner with us and perform on our stage, and we provide a dynamic incubator for the creation and staging of new works.   1. Discounted Rates: We offer special rates for military personnel, seniors, and groups. For more details on eligibility and pricing, please visit our website.
  2. Dinner and a Show: Enjoy an early discounted dinner at one of Cape May’s finest restaurants and receive a special code for specially priced tickets to Cape May Stage. Each participating restaurant offers a unique dining experience. After booking your dinner reservation, you will receive a code to purchase tickets to one or more of our main stage plays for just $35 each.
  3. Subscriptions: For theater enthusiasts, we offer subscription packages that provide the best value and guarantee you a seat at all of our main stage productions.
