Passage Theatre Company

Equity Producing Theatre in Trenton, NJ

Member overview

Passage Theatre, an SPT-3, produces new theatre that reflects and resonates with the Trenton and Mercer County communities. We operate out of a city-owned building, The Mill Hill Playhouse, which was originally a church built in 1873 and remodeled into a theatre after a fire in 1977. The Mill Hill Playhouse is a 100-seat proscenium in downtown Trenton, NJ. Passage is committed to new theater and only producers plays that have received 4 productions or less.

Passage Theatre Company is committed to creating and producing socially relevant new plays and arts programming that deeply resonate with and reflect our community. Through professional productions, educational programs, and community engagement, we present diverse perspectives and new voices that inspire audiences and invigorate the art of live theatre.
