Surflight Theatre produces musicals and plays through out the year. Surflight hires a resident company of Actors and Technicians. Most of our Company is with us for several consecutive shows. Surflight also produces a selection of children’ favorites in our Children’s Theatre and multiple Concerts and Events each season along with several Comedy Nights. Surflight also runs Summer Theatre Programs for young people ages 3-17. Show Place Ice Cream Parlour with a singing waitstaff is adjacent to the theatre. Since we are in a Tourism Destination on Long Beach Island our patrons come from all 21 Counties in New Jersey as well as 47 other states and 13 foreign countries.
Surflight partners with multiple local restaurants to offer Theatre/Lunch and Theatre/Dinner packages for groups of 15 or more people.
Founded in 1950 Surflight is one of the longest running Theatres in New Jersey celebrating it’s 75th Season in 2024.
