Hailing from Compton, California and East Orange, New Jersey, Sierra is a proud alumnus of Howard University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in TV/Film Production with a Playwriting minor.
Before joining the New Jersey Theatre Alliance, Sierra managed and supported development and production for original TV & Film series at VH1, NBCUniversal, Discovery, Science, Netflix, and WEtv/ALLBLK. There she played a pivotal role in shaping original programming for global audiences, collaborating seamlessly with prominent networks, producers, talent, and production companies to bring creative visions to life.
She is currently the founder and driving force behind Sierra London Creative – an independent creative consulting business that specializes in TV/Film development. Sierra’s passion lies in working closely with emerging independent producers, writers, and talent in the creative community to bring access to underrepresented groups and marginalized voices in TV/film.
Sierra’s dedication extends beyond her work, as she is an esteemed member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, a mentor with Big Brothers, Big Sisters Of America in Newark, NJ, and an active member of Women Working In Reality TV.
Her honors include being named the 2023 Trailblazer Honoree For African American Women In Cinema Film Festival, Realscreen 2023 Speaker, and a 2022 Calgary International Film Festival – Documentary Juror.
